2009 Photo, text and voiceover: Maria Paola Guerrato*yacht [ppp]

Maria's Blog is just a normal blog where our Maria Paola (or Maria for short) tells us about her daily life, thoughts and feelings. In doing so, she uses normal Italian with no attempt at simplifying it. Luckily, the translation provided lets you understand everything. And if that is not enough, you know that you can always ask us!

Then we walked along the Audace quay, which takes its name from the battleship of the Italian Navy that on the 3rd November 1918, at the end of the First World War, was the first to enter Trieste port and docked at the San Carlo quay (as it was called at the time) - in front of Piazza Unit d'Italia. On the right, there was a very beautiful yacht, as big as a small liner. I wonder if it was the property of some Arab emir.
